Register to attend the LGC Net Zero Series
Registration works on an event-by-event basis. Use the tick boxes below to select which events you would like to attend in 2023. You are able to revisit this page and register for additional events later, though we recommend signing up to the entire series.
If you wish to watch an event which has already passed on-demand, you can do so by adding that event to your basket and completing the registration. All registrants of any event in the series will have the opportunity to watch the previous webinars on-demand at no cost.
Use the tick boxes to select the events you wish to attend. Please note each individual attending needs to complete this process in turn (ie if two people wish to attend, each must complete the process).
14 June - Climate & Cost of Living Webinar [Free, Online]
Our second webinar in this year's series tackles the cost of living crisis: what impact is this having on councils' ability to meet their net zero goals, and will there be a negative knock-on from people needing to save money? Join LGC deputy editor Martin George and a panel of experts to discuss the challenges on the horizon.
10-11 October - Net Zero Virtual Conference (Public Sector)
Purchase a place to attend our fourth annual two-half-day (AM) online event. Join the virtual conference room and hear from expert speakers on the strategic approach to net zero challenges, and network with hundreds of like-minded peers.
17 October - Net Zero Meet Up [York, In Person, Free]
The inaugural Meet Up will be held in York, and is free to attend for all public sector attendees. Please note there are limited places available for this event, and completing the registration does not guarantee you a spot. Please do not book any travel or accommodation until you hear from the event organiser that your place is confirmed.
Watch On-Demand - Net Zero Goals & Policy Webinar [Free, Online]
Join deputy editor of LGC, Martin George, and a gathered panel of experts exploring the cooperative possibilities within local government's remit when it comes to climate response and the policies of administrations. This event was held on 23 February and is free to watch on-demand for new registrants to the series.
